My boyfriend is 17 am I'm 19? Is that weird?

So I'm turning 19 in a couple of months and my boyfriend is turning 17 in a couple of months. Is it weird that I'm older than him? This isn't that kind of relationship that individuals just stay together for some time than they split. We're actually super serious about each other. Plus, my parents think its very wrong that I'm with a guy younger than me and so are the others in my life. His parents and siblings think that as well. We are pressured from both sides. Basically, they believe that since I'm in my 2nd year of college and he's in his Junior year of high school , its just not right (I was supposed to be graduating high school rn, but skipped. They think that he won't be able to support me financially and probably will leave me once I get old for a younger girl and I'll just be left alone. I don't know what to do. Opinions? ❤

Not weird at all and I know how you feel, I'm 24 and my boyfriend is 20 matter of fact I met my boyfriend 2 months after he turned 20. The only reason he was pressured was because they thought he will be to much for me to handle, because of how he acts. I was pressured because of I was dating someone that is younger than me. If you both really love each other ignore everyone and just be happy. I know it may seem hard but soon they won't be able to get to you.

hahaha you are talking about two years. Sure I know that now seems a big difference. But within four or five years you will never notice that difference at all. I think it's stupid that those people are giving you sh*t about it. Also, you are way too young, chances are you will break up and have other partners at some point. Why ruin it before hand?

I am with my wife for 17 years. She is 5.5 years older than me. I tease her and tell her that she could have been my babysitter.

When you get old enough for it to matter, your age difference will be nothing. just enjoy your life. And if things do go wrong, so be it, you'll deal with it later.

The thing is, I live within a family that believes to get married around the ages of 22-26. If I was to fall in love with him, he won't be prepared or ready to get settled. I will then be forced to marry someone else. Seems like I'm just setting myself up for heartbreak.

When you will be 26, he will be 24 ans he might be ready. It's always a gamble, but you just pick something that makes you happy.
