That's 100% normal. He's being really sweet to you. He wants to be around you, even when he can't. It's like a scene in a movie, where you see someone in a plane that's about to crash, and someone just calls you to tell that they love you. It's that kind of feeling. He misses you dearly. Since he can't kiss you goodnight, he calls you, from far away, just to let you know that he cares.

To me it's annoying clingy and I hate people/ boyfriends. But then again it's cute and sweet. You're basically always reminded that he that he wants your voice to be the last voice he hears a night before he closes his eyes to sleep. Your always reminded that he loves you and your voice suthes his slumber.

Whats wrong with that its sweet. For some its just nice little thing to do to let the other know you mean something to them. In my family since a kid we always said goodnight to everyone.
