Why hang out alone with a guy if you aren't interested but you know he is? am I being used?

OK so I met this girl while hanging out with a group of my friends (she was a friend of a friends) and we instantly became friends. We got along very well and we have same interest and stuff. So time goes by and we start hanging out just the two of us. Weird thing is I get mixed signals from her while we hang out. I mean SHE asks me to do chill but when we do she doesn't make the effort to like flirt or act interested. What's the point right? I've asked a couple of our mutual friends and they think that its weird that we hang out alone but nothings going on between us and they also tell me that they think she likes me but I'm not seeing it (they don't know for a fact though). so I guess I'm asking why hang out alone with a guy if you aren't interested but you know he is? am I being used? am I a time filler?

Act fast before you are permanently in the freind zone. Test her to make her jealous by dating another girl and talking about the other chick with her. Spend less time with her, don't be so available. Learn the rules of the game and play em better than her. And yes, when you're alone with her, make her drink and make the first move. After which, you tell her you just wanna be friends. Then you agree to date her but also to see other people, nothing exclusive. Don't be too nice to her and don't buy her any gifts. You'll get her I feel based on description in your question.

it's really not nice to use another girl to get to one girl. it actually hurts the girls feelings. what you suggested there would seriously p*ss most girls off and even if they began to like you they would stop after that.

nah sorry you're wrong. my advice above will work perfectly. intention should be genuine though, not to hurt any girls feelings. I'm not suggesting he becomes an as* hole to her, but jest a jerk who has other options.. Don't confess you like her. take it slow, don't push for anything fast. Trust me it will work.

She wants YOU to make the first move. For a girl to even be the one to ask you to hang out shows that she's most likely interested in you, but she doesn't want to do all the work. Therefore, I would recommend flirting or acting interested and seeing how she responds. I bet she'll warm up pretty quickly, but if not, you'll know that she isn't interested.

i do flirt and act interested, that's the problem. sometimes she does, sometimes she doesn't and I'm leaning more towards she's not interested. I just wanted to know why we'd hang out alone if she wasn't interested. maybe there's more to it. she knows I like her so she likely knows its leading me on if she does this and doesn't like me back.

maybe you just need to play hard to get? and the worst case scenario is that she friend-zoned you. to the point where she wants to hang out with you alone and nothing happens. it seems like it would be a really quick friend-zoning, but it's a possibility... and if that's the case, she must appreciate your company
