Im extremely protective of demi. When somebody says something rude im ready to do one of two thingseither blast them out like no tomorrow or bust their heads open
Why would I be protective of them? Aren't they equal to men? Aren't they strong independent women? They aren't the president of the country so why would they get any protection from anyone? I don't protect shit, let them protect themselves.
My girlfriend doesn't need 'protection'. She's a fully capable adult who doesn't need babying. Guys may flirt with her all they want and I'm perfectly fine with it.
Not sure what's wrong with needing help every once in a while. The patient I spoke of in the first paragraph has strangled a nurse. I'm lucky he didn't get his hands on me. Especially since I never said anything negative about not needing help.
They aren’t really protective at all unless some rando is harassing me.

No man protects me. I'm pretty tall and I'm kinda ugly , so the protective instinct doesn't kick in for men around me. It's fine though, Its expected. I dont blame men , that's just their human nature.
@RaceAgainstMachine just tall. Almost 6'0 or 5'11 I don't know. All I know is men find me unattractive and therefore dont feel the protective instinct. It may sound weird to you , but I've lived it so I know what im talking about
A guy is telling you he likes tall girls and that's your response? It seems insecurities is a bigger issue. Also there's nothing wrong with being tall.
I'm just saying. Men dont get protective around me because I'm tall and i have broad build and an ugly face. However my smaller and attractive friends? Men would legit die for them.
@RaceAgainstMachine uh it makes you look stronger which makes others think you dont need protection or help. It's a subconscious thing. That was my point from the start its why I mentioned tall and ugly.
Your size isn’t preventing men from being protective around you. Your attitude might be. And I really don’t think men would die for a girl just because she’s smaller
Didn't you read my words? The reason the first guy friend didn't come immediately was because he thought I could handle myself. He admitted that once it registered in his mind, that I was in a very violent patients room, he came. That patient strangled a nurse before. If he didn't help me, I'd assume he's a sociopath.
@RaceAgainstMachine lol no it isn't. I almost got hit because a guy didn't wanna help me. I got harassed many times and the guys I knew didn't even stand up for me. Uh it's a thing you experience when you live it. I hardly see men going crazy and protective over taller or stronger and muscular women. You're just an exception to the rule.
@RaceAgainstMachine are you... joking? Men and women are supposed to be opposites of each other. What's attractive in men isn't in women. At least not to most people.
No I am not joking. Why do you think men and women are supposed to be opposites of each other? Are you saying women aren’t attracted to a man’s face, hair, chest, or ass? Those things are attractive in women, as they are in men as well
I am not saying there aren’t differences between men and women. Certain things are exclusive to one gender. For example, men have facial hair and chest hair and women don’t. Women have longer hair. Men have deep voices, women have higher voices. But size, strength, muscles, those are not exclusive to one gender. Yes men are generally bigger and stronger, but that doesn’t mean women should be small and weak.
Just live your life. It's not your fault you were born tall. It doesn't take a lot of energy to tell someone to shove it their ideals up their ideals and to be thankful it's not a pineapple. For example, I don't plan on having kids. Do you know how much people have told me awful things for that? The correct answer is a shit ton but I'm still not changing my mind about not wanting kids.
@RaceAgainstMachine I have a laundry list of reasons and all of them are none of your business. Also I'm too lazy to list them all for a slight chance of you saying, "oh I guess those are good reasons." As fucking if I need you to validate my choices. Nobody ever tells people to not have kids.
Also, you should note that men are attracted to 80% of women, by default. Even if you think you're "ugly", I guarantee you there are a lot of guys who would view you as attractive and would want to protect you. And even then, while you might not trigger *as much* protectiveness from other males than a very attractive woman, you should still trigger some.
Easy way to test it. Get a guy friend to fake-attack you in public and see what happens. There have been plenty of those social experiments you can watch on youtube. Not all the chicks are attractive, but guys often still rush in to protect them. If you are a woman, and can be perceived as a woman, you will still trigger that protectiveness in men, if you are in danger.
@ChurchOfIron I'm a tall woman. I've been in actual bad situations and men never helped me. Even the guys I knew personally. However a small 5'0 thing can act like she is about to faint and about 10 guys will rush to help her. I've accepted that. Men dont want me , its fine. My features dont make me attractive as I'm not short or average like other women. I learned to protect myself after that
Well, I will accept your experiences as your experiences. But I will say that do you know there are no guys around that would protect you, just because you're tall? Because I think maybe you just haven't been around the good ones who would.
But, I'll tell you the same thing I tell a lot of chicks on here who feel like they're ugly. Cleopatra is widely considered to be one of the most seductive, sensual women in all of human history. And she was considered ugly. Yet, she seduced the most powerful man in the world, at the time.
Game will beat type every time. If you develop your femininity, plenty of guys will rush in to save you. Okay, you're tall. That's not ideal, but it also isn't a romantic-death sentence. There are guys who will love you, still. And there are guys who would protect you. But you have to believe in your value, first.
I just don't want you to think you're a lost cause, because you're most likely not. Game will beat type every time.
@ChurchOfIron okay. Maybe you're right yes. But I honestly can't develop my femininity or want to. I just hate the fact that I get treated shit especially by men because of obviously my bad looks. Being tall is not just 'not ideal' , its terrible to the average man unless a woman is a model or both attractive and tall then it doesn't matter.
Okay, so say that's true and people just don't like you by default because you're tall and [maybe]ugly. Is there anything you can change to make them like you more? Can you work on your personality or social skills to offset that handicap?
@ChurchOfIron I try to be respectful and nice to everyone. People literally come up to me and tell me about my flaws. Men treat me like absolute shit but if I'm talking to an attractive girl they come and talk to me to get to her. Obviously it has to do with looks at that point. People also make fun of my height quite often , even strangers in the street

Im extremely protective of demi. When somebody says something rude im ready to do one of two thingseither blast them out like no tomorrow or bust their heads open
Haven't seen them be much protective.
I'd say I'm the one that's over protective
In my opinion the people that do nothing to try to help people are robots
If you are TRULY a friend, there's no bounds to the protectiveness I'd give you. That said, I have very few "true" friends.
I would say I'm a bit protective over my female friends. Not like controlling, but I will protect them however I can.
I don’t think he’s interested in you. Anyone would’ve helped if they saw they’re friend being attacked. Physically or not.
My female friends... Not so much, My wife and our family members, Extremely protective.
Why would I be protective of them? Aren't they equal to men? Aren't they strong independent women? They aren't the president of the country so why would they get any protection from anyone? I don't protect shit, let them protect themselves.
I had a Russian female friend who noticed people at work bothering me and wanted to kill them lol
I'm protective of all my friends regardless of gender... Though it really depends how close I am to them.
I don't have any female friends to protect. I don't even have male friends.
My girlfriend doesn't need 'protection'. She's a fully capable adult who doesn't need babying. Guys may flirt with her all they want and I'm perfectly fine with it.
I think this was asking more about violence but flirtation. I may be wrong.
Spoken like a true cuck
Nobody was ever protective of me. Guess I´m seen as capable of handling things on my own.
Not sure what's wrong with needing help every once in a while. The patient I spoke of in the first paragraph has strangled a nurse. I'm lucky he didn't get his hands on me. Especially since I never said anything negative about not needing help.
Nothing wrong with it.
Then you should revisit your original opinion and try to be less hostile.
Nothing hostile there.
Oooohhhh so you're just always like that? My mistake.
They aren’t really protective at all unless some rando is harassing me.
No man protects me. I'm pretty tall and I'm kinda ugly , so the protective instinct doesn't kick in for men around me.
It's fine though, Its expected. I dont blame men , that's just their human nature.
What does that have to do with anything
@RaceAgainstMachine tall=strong in most peoples minds.
Ugly = unattractive = men dont care about ugly girls. That's just life.
@RaceAgainstMachine second that.
How tall are you
@RaceAgainstMachine just tall. Almost 6'0 or 5'11 I don't know. All I know is men find me unattractive and therefore dont feel the protective instinct.
It may sound weird to you , but I've lived it so I know what im talking about
How tall do you like your guys
Honey my views are not odd. I just gave an opinion. Sorry if it's not what you were looking for
I’m 5’8 and I love tall girls
@RaceAgainstMachine yeah you can't protect a taller girl. It just looks weird.
Same with being ugly.
Um, you can definitely protect a taller girl
A guy is telling you he likes tall girls and that's your response? It seems insecurities is a bigger issue. Also there's nothing wrong with being tall.
@RaceAgainstMachine uh not the same as a fragile petite little thing.
Or as a pretty girl.
Men only protect the women they care about.
I have never been interested in a fragile petite little thing
And this opinion is coming from a short guy
I'm just saying. Men dont get protective around me because I'm tall and i have broad build and an ugly face.
However my smaller and attractive friends? Men would legit die for them.
@RaceAgainstMachine what about ugly girls?
What is wrong with being tall and having a broad build?
Ugly is subjective. What is ugly to one person may be pretty to someone else
@RaceAgainstMachine uh it makes you look stronger which makes others think you dont need protection or help.
It's a subconscious thing.
That was my point from the start its why I mentioned tall and ugly.
It doesn’t make you look stronger. What is wrong with not needing protection or help? Isn’t that a good thing?
Your size isn’t preventing men from being protective around you. Your attitude might be. And I really don’t think men would die for a girl just because she’s smaller

You're just an exception to the rule.
Asker , I've been in such situations and no man helped me even though they knew me and I was in danger.
Then he's a douche.
What is wrong with taller stronger muscular women?
@RaceAgainstMachine lol I don't know what to tell you. Most people find it a complete turn off. Not to you , but to most people.
I guess they were douches, I still feel it has to do with my size and looks.
If it’s attractive for a man to be tall strong and muscular, why wouldn’t it be attractive for a woman to be that as well
@RaceAgainstMachine are you... joking?
Men and women are supposed to be opposites of each other.
What's attractive in men isn't in women. At least not to most people.
Sounds like your ideals are the problem
No I am not joking. Why do you think men and women are supposed to be opposites of each other? Are you saying women aren’t attracted to a man’s face, hair, chest, or ass? Those things are attractive in women, as they are in men as well
@RaceAgainstMachine read about the biological differences of men and women and you'll see the difference
I didn't set those ideals.
I am not saying there aren’t differences between men and women. Certain things are exclusive to one gender. For example, men have facial hair and chest hair and women don’t. Women have longer hair. Men have deep voices, women have higher voices. But size, strength, muscles, those are not exclusive to one gender. @RaceAgainstMachine that's how you see it. Not the rest of society.
Society is brainwashed by what Hollywood wants them to think
No you didn't set those ideals but you believe them. I do a lot of things that society doesn't approve of.
How am I supposed to live around people who hate me though
Just live your life. It's not your fault you were born tall. It doesn't take a lot of energy to tell someone to shove it their ideals up their ideals and to be thankful it's not a pineapple. For example, I don't plan on having kids. Do you know how much people have told me awful things for that? The correct answer is a shit ton but I'm still not changing my mind about not wanting kids.
You should have kids
@RaceAgainstMachine hahahaha no.
Why not
@RaceAgainstMachine I have a laundry list of reasons and all of them are none of your business. Also I'm too lazy to list them all for a slight chance of you saying, "oh I guess those are good reasons." As fucking if I need you to validate my choices. Nobody ever tells people to not have kids.

How do you respond to them when they make those jokes or bad comments?
@ChurchOfIron I just brush it off and try to act as if it didn't hurt
They are very protective when it comes to other males.
I'm not here to white knight for anyone. Equality! Lean in and take care of yourselves.
Good point
Very protective. I've known too many that have been hurt so I'm inclined to be protective
iam very protective... even tho i get my ass handed to me for protecting any girl
They are protective because they want you open your eyes.
I wear glasses but I'm not totally blind. Thanks though. Or it could just be the fact that I weigh 95 pounds on a good day.
No guy wastes time on a girl unless they want something off her just saying
That's true. The guy I talked about in the first example loves casual hookups and asks me for my opinion on his tinder picks.
