Does the concept of making a guy chase before and in relationship work?
Sometimes, it works because guys like challenge. In the old days, the male ancestors always fought wars and tried to achieve the impossible, which is why even when it comes to relationships, challenge turns them on either because of their sensitivity or their ego.
by the way, this is just a fun question. It was just an excuse to share the song and my another attempt of getting the question featured.

The fine balance I read is show yourself as a damsel in distress for their opinion and pass it off as a guys’ idea. Then as a woman you can’t show your talents otherwise you will intimidate them. No. And the vast majority of men will tell you this doesn't work. Never the less, women keep believing it. In my opinion, they believe it will work on men because they know it works on women. and they still don't quite believe that men are fundamentally different.

And lastly, if you find a guy that it does work on, all that means is that he values the chase more than the girl, and once he catches you, he'll be like a dog that catches a car. No clue what to do with it.

It's more about being young and insecure.
