Id accept it, but I'd be hurt. If your partner face gets deformed and you competely abandon them, in my opinion that makes you a really shitty person.

That’s an awful thing to ask.
People aren’t who they are because of the way they look. It’s who they are on the inside! Being disfigured later in life does not change a person who they are and how they were to you with you and loved you.

^That question is biased and disrespectful to the people that have gone through such an awful suffering.

@HitGirl_007 - Yeah, I will agree that they mean similar things. Semantics. But one can be seen as insensitive because since it's biased. I didn't phrase it to where any prejudice could be perceived. I kept it neutral. I just wanted to hear peoples opinions.

This scenario has and can happen to anyone. Any topic should be allowed to be discussed. How else will views get altered and understood? How else will changes in the world happen? Just because somebody is hurt by something doesn't make what they are hurt by unmentionable. If anything, we should talk about it more because we could help people see different perspectives.
