People aren’t who they are because of the way they look. It’s who they are on the inside! Being disfigured later in life does not change a person who they are and how they were to you with you and loved you.
This is just awful!
I’ve been disfigured from having cancer so do I not deserve to be loved anymore?
Most people, if not everyone, deserves to be loved but am I the only person who thinks the amount of women saying yes is too High? Like are women that much better or are they just saying yes more? Because I've known women who will dump guys over a late text or rude but we'll meaning comment
@Hypnos0829 being offended by a text and not wanting to be with that person / having them in your life is one thing and completely different to talking about the way someone looks especially after a accident etc
@HitGirl_007 - Yeah, I will agree that they mean similar things. Semantics. But one can be seen as insensitive because since it's biased. I didn't phrase it to where any prejudice could be perceived. I kept it neutral. I just wanted to hear peoples opinions.
Why is it even a thought that would enter someone’s mind?
This scenario has and can happen to anyone. Any topic should be allowed to be discussed. How else will views get altered and understood? How else will changes in the world happen? Just because somebody is hurt by something doesn't make what they are hurt by unmentionable. If anything, we should talk about it more because we could help people see different perspectives.
Opening minds can be said by both parties. It's only not going well because I don't think you understand what I'm saying. Further discussion may solve that problem so long as you're open to changing your mind! : D
I understand that a lot of thought would go into their (in real life) decision. But it's still should be accepted to ponder things. They may discover something about themselves they didn't know? The possibilities are seemingly endless!
That's nice that you wouldn't spend a thought on it. But that is your subjectivity. I hope your argument isn't: I would still be with my partner so everyone else should.
Love is more than just looks. She would still be the person I fell in love with not just a face

Well duh! If you’re with them just for their looks alone, you have issues.

For many, they don't date for looks alone. But they love the combination of looks and personality. Though I do agree that Agape type of love is one to be respected!
Hmmm I think it’s more to do with life experience too. You become more welll rounded and appreciative as you go through life, or experiences. Materialistic shit is shadowed by real shit.
That’s what makes relationships solid, and I think that’s why a lot of young people struggle. They’re more subconsciously about their own needs at this point generally even if they believe otherwise.
If I love her, ofcourse... if not so, it might make it even worse staying...

No... but we could still be friends lol
Lol @ all the women claiming they would. This is what makes me laugh about women the lie even when there's no repercussions for telling tbe truth. They won't evev admit it to themselves they're that shallow.
littlelofty I could not leave anyone if they ended up like that, stay with them and look after her for the rest of your lives. She is still the same on the inside. And you love her right?
What Girls & Guys Said

I'm not having sex with them anymore if they are deformed. They'd have to accept that
What if you are in their shoes? What if you the one who is deformed and they don't want to have sex with you? Would you accept that
@Clyde_123
Id accept it, but I'd be hurt. If your partner face gets deformed and you competely abandon them, in my opinion that makes you a really shitty person.
This man set his wife on fire, than left. I hope something really horrible happens to him.
Well you are a dog
I'm not just a dog, I'm a doggie dog
@anametouse I'm not just a dog, I'm a doggie dog
Whatever helps you feel better. Better an animal than deformed
If you took the vow you took the vow. One of you may stroke out, become disabled, lose a limb, become disfigured whatever
That’s an awful thing to ask.
People aren’t who they are because of the way they look. It’s who they are on the inside! Being disfigured later in life does not change a person who they are and how they were to you with you and loved you.

:( I'm deeply sorry that happened to you. But your tragedy doesn't make this a bad question to ask...
This is an unbiased question.
It would be an awful thing to ask if the question was:
Why would you be with your partner if they had a mutilated face?
^That question is biased and disrespectful to the people that have gone through such an awful suffering.
@Hypnos0829 being offended by a text and not wanting to be with that person / having them in your life is one thing and completely different to talking about the way someone looks especially after a accident etc
@Sonorous it should t even be a question AT ALL
Put it a different way, sprinkle fairy dust on it use pretty highlighter pens to type it...
Why is it even a thought that would enter someone’s mind?

Do you understand what I mean?
Like me trying to open your mind? That’s going really well isn’t it
I stand by my comment!
Clearly you’d have to take into account, think twice, need time if you were in the situation.
I on the other hand dont even have this as a thought in my mind because I wouldn’t spend a second thinking it’s not even a question it’s a given
Sad really.

What is sad? Explain
I’ll say it another way. Why shouldn’t or wouldn’t they be?
Are you asking me that? Or simply clarifying.
There’s nothing to ask from my end my answer and thoughts are clear.
Your the one who feels it’s something to question and think about
Yes, I wouldn't chose a partner for just their looks and I believe in the near future face surgery will be a lot easier/advanced.
Love is more than just looks. She would still be the person I fell in love with not just a face

get married for looks alone*

Yeah, if im with someone it ain't for their looks anyways, as long as their still chill.
Id have to say no. If im not attracted to the person id have to leave them.
If I love her, ofcourse... if not so, it might make it even worse staying...
No... but we could still be friends lol

They're shallow? You're the one who said you wouldn't stay
@mistixs yeah who said i wasn't shallow? Certainly not me. Lol
After a certain point in a relationship, it's not really about looks anymore. It's dependent much more on emotional connection and compatibility.
littlelofty I could not leave anyone if they ended up like that, stay with them and look after her for the rest of your lives. She is still the same on the inside. And you love her right?
wow i am just fucking speechless right now
He did her so wrong!
Of course!!! I'm not a pathetic shallow piece of trash
It would be hard but I don't think I'd leave them.
Nope, but I'm not a shallow little shit, either, unlike most people.
well considering I don't have a partner...
if we're married , i can't leave him
You can. It's called a divorce.
@mateynine once ur married u can't leave.
@mateynine
its life long
You live in the United States. Divorce is not only allowed, but it's the norm.
No. Looks are the most important thing
No way, I am done with that girl than
