Quitting my job, or getting married, stuff I used to stress about,
I just don't care anymore because now, now I'm in love!" -Retsuko (Aggretsuko)
If you've ever fell in love with someone before, you might have experienced "infatuation", a short-lived but deep passionate feeling for someone you've attracted to. The whole world around you is covered in happiness, all logic is thrown out the window and you can't help but think of anyone but that one person you're in love with!
While we know it'll happen to people who seek love, the question I'm wondering is: What exactly triggers "infatuation" in the first place? Is it because this is a feeling we've never had before that feels so good and want to keep experiencing it? Is it because of our instincts in wanting to mate with someone we want to be romantically involved with? I'm just curious what you all think of this!
