Should I rekindle a 20 year friendship or let it be?

I had a dream of reconnecting with an old friend. I told my boyfriend about the dream and he got upset. He claims my friend cause drama between us which she didn’t. We stop being friends because I couldn’t witness her being in an abusive relationship. I explain this to him and he still turn my whole dream into him making my dream about him. Anywho I found out she had her baby the night I had a dream. Do you think I should try to reach out or respect my man/ my first mind to end out friendship?

Honestly I'm in a similar situation or at least I was don't get mad when I say this but your man isn't seeing your perspective of the situation he's only wants to do what's best in his eyes and it took me 3 years to figure that out in my relationship and I hurt her so bad just by choosing something over here cuz I didn't explain my self more too her now we are broken up and I'm trying to show her I opened up fully but she closing her self but I feel like you should talk to him more about it before you make your decision like if you really want to reach out do it but tell him first and say that it won't come between you guys I know it will be hard but I'm sure you guys are able to do it :)

Thank you for your opinion, I don’t think I will reach out to my old friend. Things are going great for me an I plan to keep it that way. It’s not worth it I’ve thought about it

Your not trying to find an ex or another man so I think it would be fine. She's been a friend so if she's gotten out of that relationship then go for it

Well that’s the thing, My old friend just had a baby by the guy. So I don't know about rekindling the friendship because it doesn’t seem like much as changed. I’m in a good place but this recent dream kind of messed me up.

Not to go against your boyfriend but you could always test the water before jumping right in
