Will u still text your ex if you miss him/her?

Like u will just put your pride aside, and text him/her "I miss you". Despite the fact that they are the one who initiate the break up and it kinda end in a bad way

For me, I really want to say whatever I want as long as that person is alive. Like saying "I miss you" or "I care for you" while we both are still alive.

I mean I've read too many stories where a person regret not saying anything, and then suddenly the person they care is dead.

But well, consider case above, which one is better? "Regret not saying the I miss you" or "regret not keeping your pride and just don't say it, they are ex after all"?

I think it depends on the guy, if he came across as generally needy and initiated the breakup he is likely to enjoy hearing from you again.

However, if he is an emotionally stable and mature person who initiated the breakup you will come off as incredibly needy if you tell him that you miss him.

If you initiated the breakup, some guys will think you want to get back together, and others may feel disgusted at your comment.

Look at your options and decide for yourself, but while at my age the accepted level of humiliation is quite high, I feel like you may have to raise the bar a bit and accept that if you want to feel worthy you should not chase after someone who broke up with YOU.
If you feel like he is "the one that got away", tell him. If you feel like you can deal with not telling him, don't, and be proud at yourself while doing so.

I used to. But not anymore. I had to learn that they are an ex for a reason and life moves on. We can all cherish memories and I know at the time we loved and cared for each other. But an ex means no more communication and the feelings fade away.

I've never missed an ex. I missed talking to someone but I've never actually missed anything related to them. I have always been happy to end things. Always felt like a weight lifting off of me.

Maybe they were bad towards the end. How I did it is I dated them until I couldn't stand them anymore. This would be after the honeymoon phase and then you start to notice they do things that actually really annoy you or some little red flags here and there. You just let it build up until you hate their rotten guts and then you break up with that person.

Well this is maybe the reason we broke up. But well he just asked for break up and never say the reason.

I add one of his friend (girl) on fb.. Because the girl leave a veryyy friendly message on his fb wall, and when I asked him, he just brushed it off like always. So I took the matter with my own hand, added her on fb (just want to see what is their relationship/friendship actually)

And maybe the girl told him.
