So after asking my girlfriend, I find that she's just really shy and insecure to talk to her boyfriend in school- or even hug them or being close to them can make her feel overloaded (this is sorta a new relationship), as a result we talk less in school. Sure, we can at least talk online or in private? Apparently not as she's normally very busy and has people over most of the time and since she doesn't wanna tell a lot of people she prefers not to call me while she's with them, which I respect, but I feel like we're drifting apart and even though I want to give her time and feel like it'll fix things, right now we feel like we're going backwards because we've started limiting contact. What am I supposed to do?
