I'm only asking this question because I'm curious. So no comments about me moving on because I hear it too much and i'm trying to. Anyway so i was texting this guy for a month everyday from morning to when he went to bed. And we made plans to hang out. He randomly wanted to facetime and after that, we didn't text for a week and i noticed he unfollowed me on insta and pretty much just ghosted me... and so i texted him, confronting him about it and he never responded and i really wanted to know why. So I ended up catifishing him... pretending to my friend hoping to figure out why he had ghosted me and then i was gonna stop. But things didn't go to well because he kept on demanding a picture and i just made him feel uncomfortable so i kind of told him it was me, well he kind of knew deep down it was. He said he was a little flattered that i went through all that trouble just to talk to him and the reason why he ghosted me was because i was pessimistic and not happy.. and it's somewhat true but i can be really outgoing and fun. And since it's the summer time, my friends say i should just hit him up, ask him to go to the beach show him im not all pessimistic and just see if he'll give me another chance; cause he never really told me he wasn't interested or anything like that and he's not seeing anyone or talking to anyone and neither am i so why not just hang out and reconcile i guess I don't know. this is just what my friends brought up. i'm just worried he'll think i'm stupid or desperate. and i'm aware he'll say no or not respond but i mean he really should speak up if he's not interested or tell me to leave him alone.. cause why would he say he's flattered. anyway i'm only asking as a second opinion. cause my friends just think even though he ghosted me and said that i'm pessimistic, i should still try and show him that i can be optimistic too.
Do you think I would look stupid and desperate if I asked him if he wants to walk around the beach with me and talk?
