It seems to me, that people define clingy in a negative light when (considering from my perspective on this matter) a woman just comes from behind her boyfriend and hugs him tight and doesn't let go.
I don't know why they dislike it so much. I really love it. A woman's love is like a drug to me. I notice my health getting much better. I know because I paid women to "do things with me". If you want, I can explain further.
Invading personal space, doesn't wanna leave me alone even for a sec, always giving personal opinions even when it's not required, being over protective.
A certain degree of clinginess is fine and perfectly understandable, albeit it can be mildly annoying at times. When your clinginess takes over my life and my priorities that is when it comes an issue. Each person should have their space when they require it, and respect one another enough for that. If you don't that's no longer just being clingy, that's being an asshole
For me, a clingy girl is someone who doesn't seem to have any of her own interests, hobbies or friends and wants to be with you anytime, and all the time. She gets upset if you have interests of your own "other than her", and want to enjoy them. She also get let go of you in a social situation, and hangs on you constantly. That's clingy, and I don't like it.
Clingy is when your SO dominates your entire (or most) free time. When a person says "hey I'm going to hang out with my friends for a while" and their SO says "cool ill come with you". Umm. . . I did not invite you.
I’m “clingy” in the way that I love being close to my husband. I try not to be suffocating, or overly needy but I do like him being near me. Sometimes it’s sexual, but most of the time it isn’t.
Clingy to me is she's sacrificed her life to make mine hers. It's not flattering and is super annoying. I want my life and a life with her, not become her life. Thats just creepy.

Hmm So like you say
“I’m going to go do x y z “
and they are like “oh can I come 😀 “
Or you say I want to be alone and they say “
Oh I’ll come with🥰🥰”
Lol
Yeah that's a part of it.
Even if their intentions are pure they still need to figure when they're actually invading their partner's personal space.

Constantly texting me or wanna be around me. I believe in balance. Everything in extremes isn't healthy at all.
What do you consider texting all the time?
And what do you consider balance?
Like once you made your point or said what needed to be said then there's no reason to keep texting me.
As far as balance goes, you just in innately know when to back off. Don't push it.
I don’t think people innately know things about other people. That is why there are misunderstandings.
I do think “balance “makes sense but getting there might require communication.

I do not mind someone who is clingy at all. I actually prefer it. I think it's really cute and sweet.
But... I myself am probably the type of person that people would describe as "clingy.". (Sorry!)

clingy is when you can't give space to the other person when needed

Never been with a clingy girl, I want to try, send me one.
For me is someone who's so dependent on me, desperately calling and texting all the time. Such a turn off. I wouldn't be with someone like that.
I have a tendency of getting involved with clingy persons. I think I attract them as I'm more of the distant type.
I don't really mind.
I like clingy to a point. If they never respect my personal space then yeah.. kind of annoying.
It is bad if all she wants with me is to cling by my side and not give me any space.
I don't mind her being clingy at all
I love clingy. Makes me feel loved and cared for.
