Why does my long distance boyfriend suddenly ignore me?

He is ignoring me since a week. The exact time after which his father got covid positive and I talked to his mom and she said they've quarantined and are home. And I last I texted was saying don't worry it'll be fine on text and called him but he said he is busy in work. After that 3 days passed and no text from him, no reply of my texts from him. I texted again today and this is my last text and I think I'll call him today which will be my last call. (His parents are in another country and he is in an another country)

He ignores you because he doesn’t value you enough to communicate with you that he needs his space. It’s very immature and rude to do so and he doesn’t see how it’s affecting you. I would agree with this. However i do have to point out the obvious his father just got tested for Covid. And if you say oh i will break up with you just cause your having a hard time and not told me that you need time to think kinda comes off a bit of a dick tbh Due to what happened. I would say you need to just takes some breaths calm down, just be patient a bit more. And i am sure he will get back to you.

I understand it is hard to not text every day if that's what your used to trust me i do. But in reality you have to step back and try not let it bother you at least for a couple more days. See how it goes, if it carry's on a bit too long then maybe drop a hint that your feeling like he is just ghosting you.

There are defo time were if a guy just ignores you you in ever right to tell him to fuck off. But I think if your serious about him and he is for you and with what happened just give more time

Sounds he is going through some heavy stuff. Either way, it's not appropriate for him to ignore you this way. It simply means he doesn't value you enough to communicate properly with. Give him some time if you'd like and tell him that you're there for him. If he keeps on ignoring you too much, then break up with him.

so many kids and immature adult over here. I won't reply to my partner when I found out my family fell ill. everything will be stressful and tiring. plus dealing someone call everyday is tiring. give him at least 1 week, then text him after a week.
