I did once... never again. We got Playboy bunny tattoos, but she has long since left me. I like the pic show in the question... both have equally visible and sized tattoos.
I got the short end of the stick, I have a giant bunny on my upper arm that's very visible, while she got a small outline on her butt, that she has since removed.
(I stupidly got the other arm done in attempt to get her back by showing my commitment)

SOME do this in place of wedding bands or 'friendship' rings.
Personally, I've seen some genuinely AMAZING tattoo artwork but even with regards to symbols of my beliefs, I haven't seen ANYTHING I'd deign to wear for a LIFETIME.

I could get a matching tattoo with my sister. But not someone who isn't a blood relative. Relationships end, but family always stays family, even if we'd drift apart.
No because I'm not a tattoo personI hate needlesI have psoriasis so that wouldn't be a good idea

I have eight tattoos and plan to have MANY more and... no, I wouldn't really be interested in getting matching tattoos with someone. I guess it wouldn't be completely off the table when I think about it but I just also wouldn't call it something that immediately interests me.
I have a set of purity/promise rings that I wear still that I've had since I was a boy and I consider it the greatest symbol of my innocence, integrity, loyalty, devotion, romanticism, love, affection and desire and one day I'd intend to give it to someone I love and hope that she would constantly wear hers alongside mine as a symbol of the fact that I chose her to give it to and I trust her over everyone else. That ring is me, it's everything I was as a boy in the best of times and everything I am as a man so I would hope that is seen as better than ink.
Tbh if I end up meeting someone I love enough odds are I'll eventually get something tattooed on my body that immortalizes them in it's own way on my own. Several of my tattoos, despite having no immediate relevance to anyone in my life, instantly remind me of someone special who was in my life as soon as I look at them and will forever hold that significance in my mind and my heart and I get to tell the story of why I got them done and include that someone saved my life or someone changed my life or it's for someone else, not me.
And as long as I'm here and still breathing and my canvas is still here a piece of them is still around too and hopefully I can make it so they always stick around in some way.Nope at least not as far as couples or best friends go. I do tattoos for a living and I've covered up some tattoos that someone got with another person because they thought their matching tattoos would be a good idea.
If it's with a family member sure.I did get a sun and she got a moon on our ankles, but then she broke up with me... strange in my opinion.
I'm a bit resistant to it, but depends.. if they're really really special and i think I know them I don't know if I qould mind, other that there doesn't really seem a good reason to do that. Maybe on a good day
I don't like tattoos. Even if I have a tattoo, I will not get a tattoo for my lover, at least not permanently, because in the event of a possible separation, this tattoo will now remain a trace of regret. There's no tattoo for my best friend either, there's no reason for that, but it probably wouldn't happen again because there's no one in my friend environment with a tattoo.
I do now but only after 10 years of stable marriage. No way I do at the beginning. But now, no problem. I only like the traditional tebori way though. No machines. I think if tattoo is supposed to mean something, it should at least hurt quite a bit.
No. I think that individuals special to me leave enough of a imprint on my heart. I don’t need an outside reminder that someone is special or meaningful to me.
Yes for sure because even if you break up with the person you will still have a cool tattoo and it represents a good time in your life when you cared for that person.
No way ✌️
No definitely not the only names I would have tattooed on me are my children’s
Only airbrushed tattoos. I dont want to be permanently marked up
I have friends who I, have matching tattoos with. Lol
I have one with my sister. Butterfly on our forearm.
I sometimes express this to my wife and she just laughs because she knows I don't like needles. In reality I would like to do this.
Nope. My body is a temple. And I would never attach a sticker to a Ferrari.
Nope, absolutely against tatoos. My "someone special" can get one for themselves but I'm not getting it.
I wouldn't get matching anything. I hate corny stuff like that.
No because of what might happen in the future. Like breakup, accidents, or the worst case death.
Nope. She can all she wants. Just not my own thing.
No. I want no tattoos on my skin. It's a foolish thing to do and I don't have that amount of confidence in any human.
