There is this girl that I liked in my college, with some time we began to get out together to do some activities, we also got out to help her study since I am one of the top students in our college.
After some time I began to develop feelings for her, so I told her that I like her and want to be with her, her answer was that she was still not ready for this because of some reasons.
I began to show her that those reasons were just because she was afraid of relationships because of her past (the reasons were all not major), so I tried to work with her on the reasons she gave and ask her if she has developed some feelings, but then we decided that she was unable to develop feelings and that we will close this thought and never open it again.
After some time she suddenly started crying and told me that she loves me, but there is a reason that will affect our relation (the reason was that I am short), I loved her so much that I told her that we can pass this and that I would go through a leg lengthening surgery, after this we became boyfriend and girlfriend for a couple of days.
On our first date she brought me a gift, I didn't buy her a gift but I took her to a fancy café, she started to say some preposterous things like that I don't care about her and so on, I felt guilty that I didn't show her how much I appreciated her, so after a day I brought her a precious gift even though she knew I had financial problems.
Later she started to hurt me by telling me that I am not special to her, so I asked her "so is it ok for you to get out with guys usually?" and we got angry at each other.
She then told me that she never loved me and that she was just trying to love me and that she had to say that because I was emotionally abusing her somehow.
Now I don't know the truth from the lies and I feel so bad because I loved her so much, I feel broken and that I lost hope and that I hate myself, what do you guys think? any advice would be appreciated. Sorry for the post being so long.
