- My boyfriend planned a last-minute vacation to see his family, who live four hours away from us.

- I got annoyed because we've been together two years; he knows I don't allow anyone, including myself, to eat in my car. I also feel it's also common courtesy not to eat in front of other people without offering them something.
- I told him how I felt when we got back to the hotel room. He told me it's stupid that I don't let people eat in my car and that if I wanted a donut, I could have gotten one myself.
- He then turned the hotel keys in and took off. I had no choice but to drive home, so I missed the volunteer event and drove eight hours total for nothing.
