Love is complicated, why and when it happens and the same way why it go wrong is difficult to understand. The same is for relationship. But I have experienced love and neither relationship both are pleasant, I strongly believe that neither love nor relationship is complicated, we make them complicated mainly because of ego or not understanding partner. A complicated relationship results when a partner is not sure what they want relationship or wants to part ways. It seems hopelessly confusing and makes us wonder why is love so complicated, why are relationships so complicated, and what is a complicated relationship?
A friend with benefits is a complicated relationship. They are usually based on consensual sex with no strings of love attached and that is why it could go wrong. This ambiguous physical relationship is a curse to both parties. It seems super cool and casual, carrying on as friends while hooking up with no strings attached. You give with no expectations and are basically someone’s plaything until something better comes along. Once one of you ends up in a new relationship, your friendship is 100% doomed.
There are many reasons for having a secret relationship, and none of them are good ones. Perhaps you are dating outside your culture, and your family is incepting it. More reasons include that one of you is married and you are having an affair, you are working together, your friends or family do not approve or think this person is good for you, and the list goes on. Living with a secret relationship is unpleasant and unfair to both parties involved.
Having a crush on your friend’s spouse is possibly one of the most complicated relationships you will ever encounter, especially if you begin having an affair. You are putting their marriage in jeopardy, as well as your friendship with them. Flirting with your wife’s friend or friend’s wife is disrespectful on all counts. This is one complicated relationship that is best left avoided.
Pretending to be someone you are not is also a reason for complicated relationship. Sure, you’re being yourself, but you also want to impress the person you have feelings for. This is great for getting to know one another at first, but pretending to be someone you are not is not sustainable in a long-term relationship.
The same way, having a crush on your best friend is one of the most complicated relationships you will ever be in. You tell him / her everything and risk being turned down and losing your friendship. Neither choice is appealing.
Circumstantial love is definitely a complicated relationship that is hard to break away from. After all, it is just so convenient! Whatever the circumstance, circumstantial love is problematic.
A comfortable relationship occurs when two people are just fine; staying together even if you do not have an abundance of chemistry, but your sex-life gets the job done. You generally like the person you are with. But it is not the best relationship; you have to go through a few complicated relationships to get to the best ones.
Well said!
Each day of a relationship is a entirely new adventure, adventures can get a bit complicated, enjoy your new daily adventures and fun together.
Every person is different. For that reason there will always be differences of opinion. Normal friendships can only be maintained if people avoid issues on which they disagree.
But that's not possible in a full time relationship because partners are with each other all the time and their beliefs, feelings, opinions and attitudes eventually come out. So people in a relationship need to place their love for each other first. They need to learn how to discuss things non-judgementally, listen to each other with open minds, learn from each other's points of views, understand that their partner has a good heart, and be understanding even if they hold different opinions.
If there is a misunderstanding or conflict, it's important for two people who love each other to SAY that they love each other so as not to let a conflict smolder. Rather than allowing a hot conflict to escalate into something ugly, it is sometimes wise to agree to take a pause and set a time to return to the topic after you have both had time to cool off and process how things went off the rails. But before you pause, tell your partner that you love and care for them. Never let your partner feel that they are unloved. After all, you both want what's best for each other, right?
You don't have to agree on everything. In fact, that's impossible. When it comes to things like work, household chores, personal time, hobbies, interests, etc. you can seek compromise and attempt to find win-win solutions. When it comes to disagreements about social issues, politics, etc. you can agree to disagree amicably. Again, no two people are going to agree on everything. But when in a relationship in which you love and trust each other, you can also learn from each other's points of view without taking offense.
To add to my last sentence, I forgot to say that understanding your partner's point of view can broaden your own point of view on certain topics in general. After all, your partner is smart, perceptive and amazing, right? Their opinions can help you to understand those who hold similar opinions even if you still disagree. That's how we all learn to get along. Just because someone has a different opinion doesn't necessarily mean that are an ass hole.
Uh. Yeah both of those and so much more really.. On that bote, i screw myself over by a few things if you are thinking dating:
Going waay to far, too fast. I want something that lasts, not a hookup. however, i get far too attatched too easily to anyone that even reveals themselves to be an option. Quite literally, just too needy and feely.
Going from there, im too good at knowing them. Its easy to read on small details, with the cost of a bigger picture being not formable. (Never know if they actually wish to continue or not... XD) thus i constantly ask about it to make up for the fact i can't pick it up on my own. .. which then leads to them being irritated by hearing the same question so often.
Then.. there's also the fact i tend to have a rather strange way of speaking with anything creative. Feels like i need to translate myself to make me understandable when i think like that. However, if she can't understand what im saying, it will be either fascinating and she will attempt to learn how to 'hear it' or, it will be irritating and leave.
On that note, the first date i had, period, felt absolutely amazing. Nothing interesting happened, but it still was the best night of the decade lul (2010-2020). However, looking back on it, it. Went TERRIBLE.
Oh yes extention: i can learn a person... far too easy. Thus making it very, very, VERY easy to manipulate them or seduce them, usually without EITHER of us noticing and its IRRITATING because that will only lead to sex WHICH I MYSLEF DONT WANT... ugggh. And obviously enough of me wants it to subconsciously go out of my way and be seductive
Would you say you love girls more than girls love guys?
Probably XD.
Certainly feels like it...

With my ex, it was like one firestorm of problems. I have no idea why there was so many issues, I'd just go to work and come home and new things would come up while I was at work, that was somehow my problem.
Turns out she was cheating on me, pretty much from day 1... and due to that, caused a lot of our problems.
The next women in my life, we have got along great for years until very recently and without going into details, it is essentially like stuck between a rock and a hard place, no way to compromise.
Without compromise, things get real complicated and could end.
Relationships ARE compromise, without compromise, no relationship
@ellEyeInnKay Yup if it is something that can be compromised on, in this case she is unwilling to budge so its basically over after 13 years.
because society has decayed so much leaving younger generations with no clear sense of direction in life. Focused too much on the butterflies and feelz but not thinking logically of all a relationship entails. I like to be several steps ahead of the curve balls.
🤔Hmmm. I personally think romantic relationships are tough to mantain, more in these times. Consider the comercial explotation of dating apps. They work like pharmaceuticals. Giving people the chance to actually find a good match is not their goal. If it were, they would have trouble with earning income, from their "premium features". If they were that effective, less people would actually use the app, since less would be single.
In these times, it particullary turned out to be complex, in relation of mantaining the bond, but easier in relation of finding a date, because there are many options, and so the sensation of "the grass is greener on the other side" is more persistant, due to the culture of consumism, that incites to go for the better and not settle for what could be the worst.
Toxic times to date, honestly.
They aren't if you just follow all the traditional rules. I came home from work and my girlfriend had all the house stuff done and food ready for me. What do we have to argue about or anything? Nothing. Easy as pie.
If it were too easy, everyone adult would be in one.
they are not... people are quite complicated yes, relationships aren't
Love is like a flower that needs to be tended to, for it to bloom the soil has to be nurturing and the sun needs to shine.
Because any successful, long term relationship takes work, sometimes hard work, from all parties involved.
It's the people involved that make it complicated. You can't be needy and whiny bugging the hell out of people.
you're supposed to struggle with everything in life, that's how you learn.
@es20490446e Relationships seem so complicated because of compatibility issues and or two personality traits not fitting together.
Cause people have feelings about everything
Like with simple things, we MAKE them complicated
women LOVE it. It's drama for them , and they LOVEEE drama. excites them
Loving drama is not an attribute of women, but of ill people.
nope, it's def. of women
why i didn't get mho?
probably bias, most likely
Because people are selfish and stupid
It is a full time job.
They say anything worth having isn’t easy
A is resolved by B.
It depends
