Maybe you need to go out with some friends and have a little fun so you are not putting so much thought into it. Relationships have ups and downs. No someone does not always have to buy stuff. Love comes in different forms. Like the book the 5 love languages maybe you should read it. I thing there is an audible form on youtube. Maybe you just need to take a few steps back and relax a little. If you both have chemistry and get along well it's worth fighting for and staying. If there respect and everything then work through it. Maybe you're just not at a good place at the moment and you are overthinking. I don't know because only you know what you are going through. But take some time to work on yourself a bit that way you can come from a better place. When you chase someone too much they don't have a chance to chase themselves. Let him put in some work and be patient. But as women if we do too much they stay too comfortable. Try to make some friends so that you can' also have a life outside of him and then he will start seeing you in a different light
