Isn't it an insult if an ex comes back because their relationship didn't work out?

My ex boyfriend suddenly called back after several months. He apologized for breaking up and wanted a 2nd chance.

I didn't accept it. He's only crawling back just because I'm the last option. The girl he dumped me for ended up dumping him for his manager. He switched to another job. Then he's been having bad luck with girls. He's getting rejected.

To me someone coming back just because I'm the last option feels like an insult. I want to be a man's first option, not last... not just because your girl dumped you. Isn't that insulting?

Definitely an insult. He thought the grass was greener on the other side, instead of trying to fix an obviously fixable relationship. That’s his own fault. If you don’t want to fix things with him, then you definitely don’t owe him that

Yup he lost. Just knowing that he's only sorry his relationship didn't work out and other girls rejected him is enough for me to not ever consider him again.

True. Just the fact that he can dump me again if given the opportunities and would be just keeping me as a last resort is offending.

Indeed. I would take them back just for the sex and cuddles though then just dump them when I've had enough of them lol.
