How to survive the world as a polite and empathetic man?

A lot of women and men say being soft spoken and polite is feminine. Im normally soft spoken, soft hearted and empathetic, Im not the best looking guy either. I've been dumped once for a man with "bad boy" vibes. It made me so insecure in my masculinity. For a long time, I tried to be one. But I realized those wernt my core values, they are love, care and empathy, being emotionally available (perhaps too available sometimes). I have decided I am what I am, not going to change myself just to get a romantic partner. But, it isn't only about women, even men think Im soft like a girl, even when Im someone who seldom ditches anyone, Im a firm protector when I need to be, fearless protector and loyal. But sadly, world doesn't work that way. How do I go on in this cold world?

Keep being true to yourself. Your character traits are positives, not flaws. Don’t be afraid to engage or to respond when having conversations with women.
