yes I think you are referring to having other sexual partners, but love is different , to me love comes from first really liking a person, just liking a person is a friend, but really liking someone is a bit higher, then I think love stems from this or I should say could stem from this
@weysally No, I'm referring to people who say monogamy is compulsory for love, and sex is not a form of love. I believe kindness, charity, family, friendship, dating, hookups and sex are all forms of love. Sex is just a later stage of love in some relationships. I know people who love each other but don't have sex, and I also know people who have sex and don't love each other, I know people who have sex with multiple partners and still love the person they can't be with to bits. It's all a circle of life. We were put on this earth to make it a happy place and love everybody, so if you think love should be limited to just one person loving only one person, and monogamy is a must and then remaining sad and hurt and lonely for the rest of your life when the partner or SO is dead or has dumped or left you, it's your choice and it's a free world, I am not trying to make this a debate or argument, but then I would also think you have been brainwashed by Hollywood and other media a lot into believing in monogamy is love and won't be arguing or responding to you regarding this topic anymore. Have a lovely day, tc. 🙂
sorry that was an easy way out, love is for me monogamist , likes are not, I love to make love with my husband, but I like sex with others, even before love, one must like the other person to begin with there is of course infatuation, that is like a love but not really but overall, its down to the individuals, the law of country or religion can't get that out of anyone,
@weysally I don't get your viewpoint at all. I understand you're a monogamous person but you need to have more respect for people who are polyamorous circles.
@anon1903 I have a lot of respect for all people, if you read some of the things I have written on here, its always in my opinion, though I'm an atheist I still say may your god go with you,
sorry I should have said that the question here was about loving more than one person not about monogamy, and I should also point out, there are different kinds of love, 1/ love for husband/ wife 2/ love of your children, 3/ love of your parents, but over all one can only love one from choice

Yes , most definitely I'm in a complicated triangle myself and sometimes you truly can love two people at once , happens rarely but yes
I want to share a woman with another guy, I work a lot so it would make sense. It would be very practical
Yes, monogamy is outdated and overrated.
