Many men are OK with being a bank (ATM) to the women. I am not. 50/50 is NOT supposed to be a competition and that's why those 50/50 examples have failed.

You do know you would need to learn and be independent once he dies right?
I have seen lots of such widows struggle that way

Also tbh India and Pakistan may have such old traditions but education and money is valued way more.
I think it should be 50/50 between the man and the woman

Sounds like you’re more concerned with how something looks than if you’re really happy.
it's called a partnership... not one providing for the other
