But in all seriousness, I prefer tall women though, cause I'm like Shorty McShorterson up there, but I'm not comfortable dating a short girl (5'6"/167 cm or under) cause it just feels like settling. Like society saying "stick to your own kind, Hobbit!" That 5'1" girl up there isn't even attractive looking (for her age).
For ME, I want a tall woman to feel more like an equal; to balance out my excess shortness with some "excess tallness" from her (and it'd be bonus points if she was six feet or taller and was very insecure about it; though that might lead to co-dependency if not handled right.) I wouldn't care about a woman's height at all if I wasn't so f*cking short myself! Two centimeters removed from that manga guy up above.
Regarding OTHER couples though? I think it's great when a woman who's 5'9"/175 cm or taller, gives a guy under 6'0"/184 cm, a chance. It shows a true sign of love there when they can overcome such a societal stigma and the tall babe is willing to proudly date the tiny guy. I think it's heartwarming! Too bad I won't be able to have such blessed luck again in my life.
I think it's cute but I always wondered how sex works when I see a guy who is like 6'6 with a girl who is 4'11.
I tend to favor girls who are just slightly shorter than me so we can stay eye-level in a dance, for example. No one has to look straight up to the other.
@Cherry234 It's actually common among the tallest of my friends that they married the shortest. Go figure! Maybe it's an "opposites attract" thing. But I think the men might actually be over twice the weight of the women or close. That's a pretty huge size and weight difference so it seems very limiting in terms of what they can do together physically. But if they're happy, they're happy as I see it. It might make curious about how it all works but I'm happy that they're happy.
@Cherry234 I always related sexuality, love, and romance somewhat to a "dance" as a crude metaphor, and I like being reasonably eye-level with the woman I'm dancing with. I don't want her to look up at my chin, or me to look up at hers. So it's kind of alien to me to see such tall people match with such short ones. But maybe they find a way of envisioning these things that works for them.
@highlyvolatile Yeah it is an opposites attract thing. There are also biological reasons for short women liking tall men. Having a slight or a small height difference makes things easier like kissing and like you mentioned dancing.
It's super cute, but I have to add, from experience, to really be careful when having a baby. :'( I had something happen in my church with a height differenced couple. You 'must', I stress 'must' check on that baby (at all times) for certain at 6, 7, and 8 months. I would say labor should be induced in the end of the 7th, beginning of the 8th month. I know no one wants to hear it, but I have to tell others, as I wish they'd've known. :'( I wish we could have known to tell them. If you meet a couple like this that plans to have children, don't be scared to let them know.

Yes, I think it is cute (when the man is taller than the woman, not the other way around). A 5'10 man would pair nicely with my 5'5 height. I don't care too much about height though. I also think same height couples are cute. They're rare so seeing them is unique. 😊
Tbh I find it kind of odd.. if you guys like it that’s great and I do like taller men but when there like a 4’11 girl with 6’5 guy my mind makes me think wtf how do you even kiss her without it being awkward. A few inches difference 1-3 is perfect I think maybe 4 pushing it

Men love short girls. I am tall; 5;7 but shorter than most models. I find that men find models very attractive but in the real world; they usually prefer shorter girls. I think they like to feel like they can dominate her or take care of her more than a taller girl.

I honestly find it about strange. Especially when it's almost twice the size. The talk person my have a bad neck from bending down to kids their partner lol. Or you have a hard to doing 2 things at once in bed, because of the distance lol. Just my opinion.

Height is height and you can't do much about it. It can be cute or uncomfortable. It depends on how you look at it. I'm used to being the shorter one so it doesn't really bother me.
I think that anything more than a foot in height difference looks awkward, and even then sometimes it's pushing it. Cutest difference in my opinion is when the girl fits under the guys chin.
