"When I become a mommy I will feed my baby whenever my baby is hungry. Anytime and anyplace. The child shouldn't be left to starve just to avoid offending overly sensitive individuals. Honestly, if my child eating is offensive, then they can either look away or close their eyes altogether until the baby is full."

One thing I've learned over the years is to understand that my personal comfort with something is that my own personal comfort and I always make it a priority not to let that interfere with the comfort of level of the person I'm with. I'm very aware of what's going on around me from body language, facial expressions, what people are saying and the tone and inflection used. Probably biproducts of how I grew up and time spent overseas in the millitary. I'm aware this is not normal but necessary when trying blend in and navigate in areas of different cultures and beliefs. So back to the question I'm okay with it it but I am aware when people around are uncomfortable but I make it a point not interfere unless I feel it's going to interfere with the safety or comfort of the person im with. I'm not going to project my level of comfort in someone and limit thier way of living or expressing themselves so I'm certainly not going to let someone else do it.

It is the choice of the woman regardless if I’m comfortable with it or not. It is her body. That said I would and any bloke would be vigilant to anyone taking too much interest in.

That’s literally what breasts are made for when a moms pregnant she yeah. I feel like the stigma is just because nudity is always seen as sexual. Women are so oversexualized that even us doing something as simple as breast feeding is seen as sexual by so many :/ we need to desexualize the human body. Desexualize the female body.. literally every single damn part of a woman’s bodies are sexualized and I’m tired of it.

I wouldn’t do it in public and I don’t like seeing other women doing it in public either. Sorry I understand that it’s a normal part of being human but it’s just not for me. Some things should be done in private and nursing is one of them.

You cannot negotiate with a baby, when it's hungry, it needs food (milk). Whether it's my baby or someone else's the same principle applies. Actually public breastfeeding is common in my country. It's common to see new mothers to pull up their blouse and feed the infant and cover her exposed breast and the infant's head with a shawl or free end of saree. It's considered something as a devine thing, and staring at her can get you severely chastised or beaten up.

The fact that this even needs to be asked is so horrific to me. What has the world come to when feeding your baby the way you are biologically equipped to do is considered inappropriate somehow. Smh. And honestly if the guy isn't comfortable then he either needs to get comfortable or gtfo

Perfectly natural. When I was married (we divorced amicably after 20 years of marriage), my wife often breast fed in public, usually finding a quiet out-of-the-way spot where she and the baby could have some privacy.

Actually, I agree with you, but this is impossible in Turkey, the men of this country directly rape. I would instead give my milk in a milking bottle. There are no women's rights in Turkey. but I really agree with you. baby should eat when hungry
