Girlfriend adds guys when drunk or at the club, what are your thoughts?

So this one is more to see what people's thoughts are. My girlfriend and me differ on this one.

She thinks it's OK to add random strangers who are drunk and want her instagram/Facebook, including people who might be a bit overly friendly. She was like where else should I meet people?

Me on the other hand think it's not OK, as they are drunk, they could be anyone and mostly will be guys looking to score, a lot of times even if they have a girlfriend.

I did say, I'm fine with it just not drunk people as you never know what their intentions are. So far we haven't like agreed or disagreed whether to do it or not

I understand your concern. I wouldn't go to bars to make friends, especially with other men if I'm already romantically involved with one. Maybe she can try meetup. com or some social groups that practice activities she's interested in that don't involve drinking. It sounds like limited thinking if she feels main place to make friends is at bars.

I've seen this as a cover or excuse for cheating so there's really no simple answer here it depends on the person. The main reason most guys go to night clubs or bars is to get laid or their girlfriends wanted to go. It's usually presumed to be more acceptable to meet people at a convention or a ski club but maybe she just likes clubbing better. Maybe she prefers to keep backups in case you 2 don't work out

Honestly, she is a bit touchy feely sometimes and does like to make friends. At the same time I think guys take it as flirting and that she is into them. So that's why I asked this question and most the guys she tends to give her social media to wanting to be friends is looking for more.

I just look at it from a guys point of view, of if I was single and out at a pub or nightclub and some woman started being slightly touchy feely with me I'd take it as flirting, then with social media take it as they are interested for more

Yeah going to a bar or club and just gathering other men's numbers or socials is kinda odd and to me personally a red flag.
