Will my girlfriend and I be alright?

My girlfriend and I have been dating for a little over 4 years. I recently joined the military and moved overseas for a 3 year assignment. We both got each other promise rings and had many dreams of a long future together. About 3 weeks into me being overseas, she broke up with me. Then 2 days later she called and said, "I still have feelings for you... I still want you in my life" I agreed that we shared the same feelings and that I needed to work on myself if we were to make it work in the future, so we shifted from a breakup to a pause. But of the few conversations we had following the shift she has gotten very cold towards me and we haven't talked in about a month. She got a gift for my sister's wedding shower about 2 weeks ago and my parents say that she is considering going to the wedding. I recently sent a box to my folks with some things from here as well as a section of the box for her with a sweatshirt, some of her favorite candy, some things from my childhood that are still out at the base I'm assigned to (military brat assigned to the same base I spent most of my life at), and a gift of a holiday that is occurring around me, I also sent a letter in the box letting her know that I am doing better and want to talk about the relationship moving forward and set up a specific date and time, included in the letter was also info on the items I got for her and a thank you for the gift she bought my sister.

The question I have is, will our relationship be alright? From the info provided do you think that her and I will move past this pause and continue to have a long term relationship?

Just try your best, I know that for me even if it was hard being separated I wouldn't break up just because of the distance. Maybe send her sweet little letters and write/phone her often, show her you think about her all the time and love her. Good luck, I hope you manage to stay together.

It's hard to say, if she said she still has feelings for you then I don't see why she would be lying.

Your love and faith for each other is being tested.
Still send her letters, and small gifts to let her know you are thinking about her. You could also fly her out to visit you sometimes, if you are willing.

In time, you will see whether she can keep going with your relationship or not.

Thanks! Do you think I waited too long to contact her? I needed to focus on myself so I could become a better man, but was a month too long?
I'd love to fly her out but the country I'm in still has its borders closed with no open date set yet. But I want to see/talk to her so bad but I'm afraid that either I haven't given it enough time or that it's too late.

I'd love to but the letter I sent has a specific date and time that I wanted to start communicating again but the letter hasn't arrived stateside yet. Or should I just say "screw it, I love her and I want to see her and make our relationship work. I'll explain the letter later"?
