My friend calls me his sister but treats me like something more. What do you think?

My best friend refers to me as "like a sister" to him. Usually that would be cool and okay, but I have a huge crush on him and most of my other friends thinks he likes me. (He has a long distance relationship so I'm afraid of messing up boundaries.)
He spoils me by driving me places, he buys food for me, calls me cute, he speeds on bumps on the road just to make me laugh- and he holds and cuddles me.
His arm is around me in this picture. (Mouth and nose covered for safety.)

He often will put his arm around me or lay his head on my shoulder while watching TV and sometimes he will put both arms around me and cuddle me. He had me lay on his chest once.
Last night, he tried to pick me up and we feel in the floor and he held me there. It was nice, but uncomfy, so he cuddled me on the couch. He admitted that he picked me up and fell as an excuse for cuddles because he didn't want to ask for them.
Ilove being held, but him having a girlfriend bothered me so I asked what she would think and he said he didn't know, but it's okay because he thinks of me as a sister.
Siblings don't do these things, do they? (Only child, here.)
I'm just really frustrated, because it seems like he likes me, but I feel like he might be trying to tell himself the sister thing so he won't feel bad. Honestly, I catch myself wishing he will dump his girlfriend for me but that isn't right so I just sit still.
Does anyone have any clue wtf is going on here? It's really upsetting and I'm supposed to watch horror films at his house today.
Today. Will be. Rough.

I know I posted this before, but the original post isn't showing on my profile for me, so I had to make the post again. Sorry!

The movie night went... okay I guess? I'm starting to think the sister thing is a cover like some people said. He tried to keep me in his house for longer than needed and it caused a but of trouble but it's alright. It's all just so weird.
