Would you lie to her and tell her you just found out your sister-in-law is in labor at the hospital and take her home?
What would you do?
To be perfectly honest I would take her out to dinner be a perfect gentleman as my treat an in a polite way decline future involvement. But we had a great night out and dinner and entertainment just no Quote Sparks flew 😚😉🤗
I would be polite about her, continue with the blind date

I had a blind date once (1972) with a girl who was a friend of a fraternity brother's girlfriend. I was 17 and a bit shy at that time. She requested to go see a new release movie "Deliverance." There was absolutely no chemistry or physical attraction between us and I was actually embarrassed because the movie contains a male rape scene.
However, I thought that it would be a horrible and very ungentlemanly thing if I did not stick with her for the night and finish the date as planned. I never called her or saw her again but we had our date.
When I was in college I was friends with a local kid that used to commute to school. He and his girlfriend wanted me to meet one of her friends. So they pick me up at my dorm and we drive out to a bar/restaurant where we met this girl. We immediately didn't like each other. She thought I was a fascist because I was in Air Force ROTC and I just thought she was a moron. My friend and his girlfriend thought it would be funny to leave us there by ourselves. When we figured this out she told me she was leaving. I asked her if she could give me a ride back to my dorm and she said no. It was a 4 or 5 mile walk in the freezing cold so before she left i jumped on the hood of her car and held on while she tried to shake me off. Finally she gave up and gave me a ride. It was really quiet as we drove back.
@exitseven Funny now but probably not funny back then.
@exitseven Time is very kind to most of our memories.
@exitseven That tactic actully had the potential for you to get seriously injured but it turned out well for you!
Good story to tell your children and grandchildren when they are older!
A meal isn't going to kill you. Unless she is horribly rude then you just grin and bear it. If she is unbearably rude then you extract yourself from the situation as gently as you can.
I'm not a douchebag, so no... I would not lie to a woman I agreed to go out with
I would go on the date anyway and I would be polite,.
Picked her up? Never do that on a blind date. Just meet them for coffee. Then you can be done with it in 20 minutes if you aren't attracted.
I'd date her but end it at that
I don't do blind dates.
Nothing
