What do you think of his behavior, every time my boyfriend is mad he says it's HIS apartment and say I dont love you?

Hi everyone,
my boyfriend was planning for a while to take us to disneyland tomorrow, we were long distance for months and live together now. He was mad that I interrupted him on the phone which he does all the time actually and I wasn't aware I was doing it and was sorry but he got super mad and started being rude and giving me attitude. he didn't even do anything for me for vday or our one year which happened while we were apart, so this was one activity he had planned because he wanted to do something for us as well as to make up for not spending those holidays together. he got super angry at me interrupting him and hung up on me so I texted him that he is acting stupid and he needs to stop and when i called him back he barked at me "you are going to not call me the rest of the day and if you even call me once we are not going tomorrow", wow. I ended up calling him to try to say sorry for interrupting and mediate things, and he lashed out and said "OK we aren't going now" and starting spewing other hurtful things, he told me "just pack your shit and get out of MY apartment" (keep in mind I am the one who found this apartment and I pay half the rent even though he is the one on the lease, since he wanted to move in a few weeks before I was able to come be here) and "I don't care about you" "I don't love you" etc saying super hurtful and nasty things. He does this every time he is mad at me lately, even calling me a cunt recently when he was pissed at something I said. what is your opinion of this guy?

Time to move on, it will only get worse. He is trying to control you like a child throwing a temper tantrum, rather than work things out as an adult.

If unintentionally interrupting someone on a phone call gets this, imagine how much worse it will be later with other bigger issues?

Stop paying half the rent, since your not on the lease and move on, you can do so much better.

This guy is a red flag with legs. He’s being not only immature but emotionally abusive and has at the very least anger issues. I’d take his advice and pack your stuff and get out if this relationship as soon as possible before it gets any worse. And since it’s, in his ownwords, ”his” apartment just stop paying for it right away.

totally agree. should I just pack my shit and go while he is at work, I am able to transfer jobs so I am not worried about putting a notice in. I am sure my work would understand right if I let them know I am being mistreated and abused emotionally

First of all fuck valentines day. Secondly, his attitude and toxic behavior sounds to me like a disaster waiting to happen if he doesn't change. I wouldn't stand for it. If somebody I was with was like that, and they refused to acknowledge it being a problem, I imagine I'd end it pretty quickly :(

How long have you guys been at that apartment? If you’re getting mail he can’t kick you out regardless of you being on the lease or not. I went through that shit for years and I promise it doesn’t get any better 😞

I would rather leave honestly and go back to my hometown while he's at work with no warnin one of these days, that is disgusting isn't it? that when he's mad at me its suddenly his apartment cus he got here first. i literally even did the whole application process for him, he's a loser.
