One of my guy mates hates his girlfriend!

He is constantly running her down, calling her an evil bitch, a narcissistic cow, a hearless woman, he even said she is a 4/10 in the looks department!! He has also said that she is abusive physically and emotionally and that she treats him and his son (to his previous girlfriend) like utter shit!

Tell me then...

Why is he staying in a relationship with her?
