Why does my boyfriend always make comments to me?

We’ve been dating for two years and this is something he’s always done but it’s really annoying me lately, he will always make little comments which he thinks are funny like ‘that would be you’ ‘you’d be like that’ etc kind of comments...
We were watching a movie and a woman had a baby and I jokingly said something to him like ‘how would you deal with me one day if I was in labour like that’ and he said ‘so just a normal day with you then haha’.

I don’t know, am I just too sensitive or do I need to pull him up on this? I’m starting to make comments back to him now which I don’t like but I want him to feel how it feels, not that he cares I don’t think, then he will say he’s joking or ‘you know me, I dont have a good filter’... there’s something wrong with him I think, what should I do about him?

So, it is you would be like that"positive comment" ? Have you ever told him that the references he makes about your personality are more than not in a negative tone. Be prepared for example from a movie etc experience together...

be OPEN and HONEST... tell him that your feelings are VERY sensitive and that sometimes he says things that hurt you, you know he doesn't mean to hurt you, but that you want him to know that it does...
