The other night I drank a little to much and ended up passing out , while i was sleeping my girlfriend was going through my phone and found a text message from another girl that I replied to in a joking way , The text was from a girl that asked me who I was because my number is saved in her phone , I said who is this , and she said Erin , I said I know a lot of Erin’s , ( I had an ex named Erin) so she said who is this , And I said I think you know who it is , Are you complaining? And that was it , no more replies , I was a little tipsy when I responded to that text and didn’t think much of it , so I admitted to my girlfriend that it was wrong for me to do that I was just being silly but understand why she is upset with me because I would be upset as well if I busted her , I apologized and told her honestly it meant nothing and honestly I think it’s a spam text , she still didn’t let it go and is still upset with me , so in my defense I asked her why she is going through my phone in the first place? She said because of shut like this , she is still upset with me and Now I feel she is going to keep using it against me , What can I do to let her know that I am not cheating on her? This is why I hate fucking cell phones. And I know damn well she has talked to other guys, Do you think she will forgive me or just use it to play a victim

I told her she had no right going through my phone period and that if she thinks I am cheating on her then this relationship isn’t going to work , She said she knows I am not cheating on her but what I said in that text is disrespectful and she is holding against me , she said how would you feel if I was texting that stuff to other men? I admitted to her i see where she is coming from And that I was just fooling around and being silly but it honestly didn’t mean anything and I am sorry it’s affecting you that way. Do you want to break up over a dumb text? , I said did you go through my phone to find dirt on me so you can play some sort of victim when you go away with your girlfriend? A girlfriend that she knows I don’t like her being friends with. And that she is planning on a weekend getaway with her So I threw that in her face as well that when she talks to that girlfriend on the phone she goes and disappears for awhile Like she has to have this secretive friendship which I find very shady but i haven’t said a word until now, to prove to her that what she is doing is wrong as well , So I Asked her what really was the reason you went through my phone? I said it’s kind of funny you go through my phone after you talked to her and make plans to go away with her? I said sorry , but that’s how I am seeing things , so if your toxic girlfriend is more important to you then I am , then maybe you should make plans not to come back after your weekend getaway with her because I am such a bad person I might have to be toxic as well and then I walked away
