We hung out today, really good chat for 1 hour. We were talking about movies, he was talking abit about his family etc. before movie, then did solid side hug and already planning next hang in a few months on mivie we have an interest in. I am wondering if it's good idea tell him i like him, but I don't want to ruin our friendship me liking soeta came back today. In the past, we have hung so much, and stare at each other a lot, he has let sleep on his shoulder in the past and we hug eveytime. Before sending this, should ask if he is interested in anyone, Do guys think we are friends or maybe more. "Hey his name, I need to come out clean and say this, I wanted to let you know that I started liking you as more than friends a while ago but kept denying it as I don’t want to mess up our friendship"

Currently, at this stage. I have asked him. The question: are you interested in anyone at moment? He replied with he doesn't know, he hasn't really though about it all much.

You always run the risk of ruining a friendship since you don't know how he will react. There isn't enough context for me to determine if he likes you more than a friend or not. I would need more info. I would look for signs that he is flirting. By the details you did give, seems like it is more of a friendship than him wanting to date.

That is just what I am gathering from what you have said. I could be totally wrong. Again, you do run the risk of shocking him by professing your feelings. If that goes wrong, you could lose him.

I kind of doubt that as most people, even if they don't want to take a relationship further, tend to be more flattered and just say something like "thanks, but I'd like to remain friends" rather than flip out.

Ref update: Maybe hold off right now until you have a better idea. If he says he doesn't know if he is interested in anyone, then that is likely he wants to be friends with you. Not that it could not change in the future the closer the two of you get.

Hmm. If a girl I liked said that I'd be desperate to ask who. He may be worried to ask, men aren't usually great at picking up signals even if you're waving it right in their face, especially if he's still relatively young. I'd maybe lead with 'Aren't you curious who it is?' You could describe him to himself without saying it's him. If he doesn't think 'wait a minute that sounds like me' he really is clueless.

There's a few things you could do. You can ask him what is he looking for? Is he looking for a friendships, relationship etc you can be honest with your feelings that you like him as it seems like you guys both like each other that way you will know where you stand and aren't wasting your tie if incase he is not interested in more than friends. Always communicate what you think that way you will know early on. You cannot scare a guy who truly wants something and wants it with you. Otherwise it is not worth your time because you want someone who will respect you, want to see you, go on dates with etc. So don't be afraid of speaking your mind if you like him. Otherwise you'll like him even more

I've posted something similar on another person's question. Don't make it a direct question. Ask him if you look pretty in what you're wearing. He will say yes. You could make a joke then about it and say 'Yeah but I'm not your type'. You're indirectly asking him and he'll also feel less awkward about it. However he'll feel a bit safer in telling you what he really thinks as they're indirect, but you're opening up a channel of conversation without directly blurting out your feelings.
