Why is it that I always attract insincere manipulative people?

They seem nice at first, so I let them into my life. But over time, I find out they're only playing mind games and manipulating me. The problem obviously lies with me, because it's every person I come across 🙁 don't know what to do any different to stop attracting these types of people 😩

I've dealt with the same thing a big part of it was due to them seeing me as an easy target to mess with because I didn't have confidence and I had extremely low self-esteem probably zero self-esteem and I guess in a way I didn't respect myself enough so I became a target for them

I don't know your personality and the situation, but usually manipulators seek a target that is easy to manipulate

It's just more of an energy you have to learn to give off. You want to make it obvious that you are someone who keeps their word and don't put up with people who don't keep their's.
