Is this ok in roleplaying?

This involves character and gaming roleplay so read and answer at your own risk! So my best male friend and I rp in gaming servers and we’re “married” in the actual lore XD its all pg and the backstory is very cliche tbh but he’s a demon and I’m an angel and the backstory is that many years ago, he hunted my family to extinction because demons were at war with angels or whatever. (basically killed them xD) and I was the last one and he one day saw me and was curious as to how I survived and then captured me and bla bla eventually he grew a heart and we fell in love and in present times we’re the odd demon/angel couple amongst other people in the server. Ik its a very cliche backstory however there are aspects of stockholm and forgivness for murder in the lore from my part and I have started overthinking it a lot to the point where I feel if maybe us having played along with this backstory/lore was wrong? Irl we’re best friends and are very close and are fine playing these parts in lore and we both know its all fake but does this lore make us like bad people? Or is it ok to role play these things as long as there’s respect and knowledge that its all acting and fake?
