If you have broken comunication a long time ago, more or less peacefully, and you both moved on, is it a good idea to reach out to those people in a friendly manner, to rebuild a friendship? Who should you never try to get back in touch, ever?
I had this happen with a male friend once. We had a big fight a long time ago and we didn't talk for more than 4 years. And I got back to him at some point and we rebuilt trust and now, almost 7 years after we got back togheter, we are best friends. Is this just my luck, or is this a thing that can only happen between guys?
Should I try to get in touch again with a girl I was a friend with, but who decided that we should no longer talk because I told her that I like her and I became very persuasive at some point into getting her to go on a date with me? I really miss her, and I would love to have her as a friend, but I am not sure it's a great idea to try to get back into her life...
