He's angrier that expected what do I do?

So i've been with this guy for a few months cnat say we're official or anything. He's sweet and honest about stuff however he tends to like brag a lot about how much of a great catch and it really upsets me sometimes so i decided to like give him a taste of his own medicine and yh i went out with some friends to a bat i knew he often went too and this guy came up to me and i started talking to him after my friends gave me the signal he was looking. I wasn't even into the guy at all but then he touched my thigh and then he flies over all like mad almost punching the guy and almost beat the crap out of him but then he got mad at me for asking him to stop like, sorry if i stopped u from attempted murder the way he stormed off it would seem like i was cheating if we were even in an official labelled relationship. And yh now he's ignoring le and being a sour puss. So yh plan did better than expected , the aftermath was just worse that anticipated.

I wasn't trying to make him jealous. I just got tired of listening. How would u feel about ur girlfriend telling u she slept with some guy where and when, i admit i could have handled it better sure but him getting into an altercation wasn't my intention. To me it felt all his bragging was him saying u better be greatful that idcided to be with u and i was hurt okay and i guess i kinda wanted to hurt him back. I didn't mind at first i was glad he shared but after.. I don't know.

I just felt like that way he would know how i felt and he would stop ir apologize even. But i guess saying it or talking about would have been a better way to handle and i just felt even more dumb after the hurtful stuff he said. Felt like i was wasting my time and i'd become a story to his next girlfriend.
