So the new girl I work with is 19 and her "boyfriend's" like 22, and their "relationship" seems very strange to me.
Like for example she went to a concert with her sister instead of him. Okay, maybe not too unusual. But then on another occasion, she asked him to go to a concert with her for one of her favorite artists and he started bitching how he's not gonna go to a concert on a school night. Another time she said she went to a movie by herself. When I asked her what she's doing over the weekend she said, "Nothing." Wouldn't someone in a relationship be doing something with their partner? Then get this, yesterday he called her during work, and she literally hit the "Reject call" button, and was like, "I'm at work." I think she did text him, but I've never had a coworker not answer the phone when her boyfriend called. And she tells me after I leave, she sits there bored.
I did give her my number, but she never called or texted me, though we started playing this app and she was like, "Why didn't you play the app with me on our day off? I'm always on my phone."
I don't sense that she's interested with me. I mean she really likes working with and chatting and playing games with me, but that's about as far as it goes.
But as far as her "relationship" with her boyfriend, it seems very strange. I don't know, what do you guys think? I don't wanna be nosey about her relationship. I DO like her, I'm not gonna lie. We have A LOT in common, but as long as she's in a relationship I'm not gonna try anything unless she makes the first move, though I'll be completely honest, if they broke up or had a fight, I wouldn't be sad.
But overall, what do you guys think of this "relationship"?
