I'm assuming you're letting guys pursue you and then hiding it because you know how it looks. You value it enough that you'd allow it and want to hide it just so it's not known about. But with full context, your own friends would be able to call what it's going to lead to. The boyfriend probably sees this and is in denial that you actually do such a thing. The guys in hot pursuit would've done ghosted you if they didn't think it was true.
But maybe I'm wrong and you're just hiding pieces of chicken under your pillow.
It sounds like he was saying that if he leaves you alone, it may be indefinitely and it seems as if he doesn't trust you.. He may just be using that as an excuse beche may be doing something.. It could be projection..
