Why did I get upset over him buying mr gifts?

I used to have a relationship with this guys, well name him Randy. he used to buy me stuff and give me food when I wanted and not have me pay. I used to be fine with it but after our break up I found a new boyfriend.. Josh and he doesn't have so much money and I have more then him so I tend to buy him gifts cause I enjoy spoiling him. I've been having a lot of stress recently with work and my family constantly taking money from me so I guess I have issues with money obv but yesterday he bought me a overpriced cookie and I sorta got super upset over it and had gotten really mad at him cause I didn't really want it. I don't know why like it's nice of him but I told him many times I didn't want it and he did anyways. I get he wants to get me something but I really don't like him spending money on me since he doesn't have so much and I'd rather him spend it on himself. I'll assume it's cause of my constant stress that it sorta just pilled up and I just lashed myself out on him

yea I was upset over it but he told me that he wanted to do it because he never gets the chance to buy me anything and he was getting one for himself at the time. I get his point I just don't understand why I freaked out so badly on him

you wanna hear something that's fucked up. I got the woman I love 100 red roses and 18 lillies and a set of volkan flowers but the billing address got screwed up and the order got canceled so i went to a different website and ordered her 24 red roses and 12 lillies since i felt bad the previous order got screwed up and i didn't so much as get a thank you from her. the first order costed over 350+ dollars the second order costed over 224+ dollars and not even so much as a thank you from her

I was too clingy ig. and I sorta had separation anxiety and wanted too much of his time🤷 he started to be more busy but when he had time to hang out he would do other stuff to avoid seeing me and then he just said he didn't wanna date anymore

i wish the woman i love was clingy to me i'm actually envious and jealous of that. if he said he didn't want to date you then he's a fool and it's his loss.

if she didn't appreciate them or say thank you then I don't know if that's to well. you should talk to her about it

wow that hurts hearing you're happy with somebody else.. i know she's with somebody right now it's just heartbreaking to think about and hurts a lot
