When I say argue I’m not talking about a serious argument. For example, he doesn’t like cheddar cheese and I find it weird he doesn’t like it so we “argue” about it. We don’t physically fight, it’s more of a taunt like “I’m gonna fight you, come get some!” Only to get a kiss on the forehead. Talking shit stems a lot from us playing video games together…

Nope, I'm never aggressive or violent. I have yelled really loud occasionally, but that's about it. Like, "You're driving me fucking crazy!" in an argument. I hate senseless arguments.

No, never. We were young she would throw conditions fairly regularly. For years I could say I never raised my voice in anger once, but after 20 years I can't say that anymore. Still, I'm certain it's been less than 100 times in total and likely far less.

That said I would not describe our early years as tension free. They were incredibly stressful but that's because of how much could be communicated and even dread to be received non-verbally.

It’s not toxic though. I’ve been in a toxic relationship. We’re literally play fighting, nothing more. No hitting is involved, nothing hurtful is said, none of that. I understand from an outsiders perspective it looks that way, but it isn’t. Granted, there is a line that can be crossed when play arguing, so we try to do it on non important subjects like cheese or my dislike for seafood. We both dislike what the other likes and it’s hilarious to “argue” about. We don’t force each other to like it but it’s fun nonetheless.
