Why does my boyfriend do this who loves me and treats me very well 95 percent of the time?

I get so confused sometimes He usually treats me so well like more than anyone has. But no one is perfect. Recently he claims he has no faults and treats me so well every time we get in any sort of argument recently which we don’t fight often but he’ll say he puts in 90 percent of this relationship and I only put in 10. First off I do a lot for this relationship and I always put him first. He has even told me once before that he’s glad I’m not toxic when we were having a deep discussion. So I know I treat him well and prioritize him. We have a lot of sex, intimacy, quality time, I contribute to dates etc. and I admire him and love him. I asked him why he’s with me if I only put in 10 percent and what can I do more of etc? And he says nothing 10 percent is a lot “for you” his words. That’s kinda condescending and I told him that. So I called him abusive and he thinks it’s the worst thing in the world meanwhile he says all that stuff to me first… ? Also to top it all of HE NEEDS CONSTANCE REASSURANCE AND VALIDATION FROM ME. like all the time otherwise he turns it around and says he treats me so well etc like he’s fishing for it. He’s even called me complacent. I think he expects too much out of me. It gets exhausting. We are in our 30s by the way been together 1 year. Is he majorly insecure or what? Says I’m the hottest girl he’s been with and he can’t help but feel insecure at times
