Absolutely you can and my response got over a thousand upvotes on Quora but I was curious to see the opinions on a different platform as GAG community seems a bit stranger in my opinion.
Firstly I seeing a lot of high horse crap to do with this question but I’m going to put it simply.
Yes, ofcourse you can. You can’t make make him but there is no harm is asking whatsoever and don’t feel bad about it.
Relationships are full of compromise. One day he might want to paint the room a different colour but you’re not certain and you might have to remember that time you asked him to delete his ex of social media.
I’m sick of this topic being painted as narcissistic or such an insecurity being a bad thing. Own it.
I don’t believe ex partners should have front row seats into the windows of our lives anyway and sucks that we even have ex’s half the time so why are you doing you’re current lover a dis service by still being connected to them.
I will openly admit I am a jealous guy. I asked my ex if she would be okay with removing a couple of her ex’s as followers. In my case, these men had mistreated her and I didn’t think they deserved to have to pleasure of being able to still see into her/our private life when they wanted.
2 years later we are stronger then ever, happily married with 2 kids and very much In love.
