If the person you’re boyfriend/girlfriend always said this after a disagreement or argument how would you react?

Whenever my boyfriend and I (now the father of my child) our first child together, get into a disagreement about our child the first thing he likes to say because he’s upset is “I can always go have another baby.” And then when the tension between us dies down and we come to an agreement it’s always “I didn’t mean it. I was just saying it out of anger.” But he has said that same thing out of “anger” too many times. He’s starting to make me believe that that’s what he really wants to do.
