How to work out if I'm being used for sex?

Long story short:
- broke apart from a girl 2 months ago because she thought our connection was more like friends
- stopped talking
- talking again but she's talking to her ex even though "it's not serious"
- she asks to go to an art exhibit with me
- she lives 4 hours away so would have to spend the night away from her home

I told her that she can stay in a hotel or I can set up a blow up bed for her if she would prefer that, since I'm not really sure what her feelings are for me.

Her response was "I don't mind sex"

To me that seems like a different response to one that I would have hoped for?

I feel like if she was interested in me or loved me in a "I want to spend the rest of my life with you" kind of way then she would have said it in a more loving way?

Is she testing me or am I being used?

It would seem you are being used for sex, else why not suggest to go back out... and she could possibly still like her ex.

One of the reasons we split initially was because it's long distance so maybe that has something to do with it?

Yeah maybe I'm not sure but me personally I wouldn't care the distance if I like someone I like them and want to see them

Doesn't sound like she wants a relationship or to be exclusive but is open to occasional sex with you.

I think she's saying that she will not have a problem if sleeping in your bed means sex, but she wants to sleep in your bed.

She's into casual sex and she's being blunt about it. Id give her what she want's till you find something better.

It's a bit more complex than this I think. She says she wants to move further north (towards me) in 5/6 months. Why would she tell me that if she wants our situation to be temporary? No doubt I'm being played here because it always happens
