Can we also get tired of being too sweet?

I'm officially done with making him meals (what for if we're just dating), taking pictures if I'm in a new relationship and giving out so much for little to nothing in return. My family members get all excited, only for them to find out it ended in yet another break-up; another waste of time.

If I get into a new relationship (I will at some point), I'm not even going to take pictures anymore nor tell anyone about my dating life. I'll be posting pictures and even a video, only if he makes me his life partner, along with an official wedding date. Either that or get the hell out of my life.

I'm tried of too much BS. I even gave my money too... for nothing. I think I'm the female counterpart of the men getting tired of being the nice guy and get nothing in return. Can we also get tired of being the sweet girl that gives too much and gets no commitment in return?

Now I understand what's it like being a nice guy and getting treated like garbage, like a doormat and accepting so little in return, lowering your own dignity, your own value as a person. I'm done with that. I'm done with giving a man my money, cooking him free meals or going out of my way, treating him as a life partner when we're just dating and he isn't going to commit.

You know the best thing I think you can do at this time is to back away from "girlfriend" slowly. He's going to pick-up on this emotional vibe you are emitting. Be a traditional girlfriend with dates, expectations that come with it, and a "show me effort."

You know, love him but simultaneously teach the dog a new trick. He needs to come to a knowledge ON HIS OWN that he has a good thing... and he's on the way of f-in it up. I am NOT talking about be a Hater vibe but i am speaking too a long-term view and day-to-day vibe within a LTR.

Yes my new rule is treat the other person how I'm getting treated. If he gives little to nothing, that's exactly what he'll get from me: NOTHING.

Exactly. I'll longer give men any type of wife services anymore, none. I didn't even live with them but still would make meals and took them over there to them. That was wrong too. I think another mistake was me being available for them at all times; even sacrificing my work hours just to be with them... screw that. I'm no longer too nice woman anymore.

I posted an update. I fully understand when some men are tired of being nice men too. I'm like their female counterpart but now I've caught up and no longer falling for BS.
I'm going after my goal in life (commitment) and if he won't give me that, he can get lost and I would happily close the door in his face on the way out.

That was my mistake. I was always available for them and even sacrifice my hours of work for them. No more. I'll longer be available at all times for men. No more of that. It's like people don't appreciate it when you're a very sweet, open-minded person. They all take advantage of that. I'm super disappointed.
