Boyfriends or girlfriends before age of 13 or puberty. Have you had one, did you consider them serious or just fun and games?

So yesterday I talked with a few friends about middleschool and something came up. So around that time, maybe 6-8th grade (I may be wrong there and it was even earlier) there was this thing going on, where basically half the class tried to couple two people and than one wrote these cute little papers : "do you want to go out with me? Yes, No, maybe".

IF yes than you where together. The thing is there wasn't any love, any sexuality (not that this is a must for a relationship and at this age obviously not) or even romance involved, it was just fun and games, Children playing adult. Most that was done is holding hand and sitting as a girl with more guys or the other way around. (maybe that was even earlier) These "relationships" where never longer than it was "cool", which was around two weeks maximum. You where basically weirdly way of friends and after the "relationship" nothing really changed except that you werent officially together and you werent holding hands anymore.

I never considered these real boyfriends when I look back. Was that even a thing in your middleschool years? Do you consider these real relationships?
