People, if y'all have authoritarian parents, would you want or would you feel comfortable introducing your boyfriend or girlfriend to them?

I'm 21 years old and still living with my authoritarian parents. If I were in a relationship with my girlfriend, I would not want introduce her to them because I believe the wouldn't approve of her and deal with their bullshit. Would you y'all want to introduce you boyfriend or girlfriend to your authoritarian parents or no?

Your girlfriend is going to have to deal with your authoritarian parents eventually. If you love her then you will introduce them sooner rather than later.

I understand the idea of losing her over your parents does not set well with you, however, each girlfriend you have will have to interact with them. And none of them will marry you if you act ashamed or like hiding something. Good luck with it all 🍀
