Personality vs. looks?

We all know personality is more than looks. So how to choose the right partner? Ignore the looks completely? Well, my girl is the best one and has great values, personality etc. but she never dresses cute or sexy. She dresses like a boy but could be so much more feminine. Don't blame me for asking, I know it's kind of wrong, but I can't ignore looks completely. Will she feel offended if I tell her I like to dress more feminine? How can I communicate this to her? I mean if she'd tell me to wear more shirts or since other kind of shoes etc... I'd try it... for her!

You would just put pressure onto her and she would feel that she has to comply in order to keep harmony within the couple.

Ask yourself why you want her to change the way she dresses? Is it because you have the feeling you are together with a man? I have the feeling that by trying to impose or change habits of people, one dictates the way they have to be.

Unless she dressed totally differently when you first met, you accepted her the way she dressed and your desire for her to change the way she dresses is a change in your behavior.

Try communicating with her. Don't demand it just tell her that you would like for her to wear a dress sometimes (insert here what you would like). Hints are rarely understood in a way we want. You should accept the partner the way they are, so if she doesn't want to comply to your request there is nothing more you can do. Do not however resent her for dressing the way she does as she always dressed like that, you took her as your SO dressed like that, do you know what I mean

I say take go shopping and have you 2 dress each other as a fun challenge/date. Let her get her hair, make up, and nails done even. Go on a romantic dinner after. Then express how beautiful you find her in those feminine clothes and then start the conversation.

First ask her why she dresses in more masculine clothes. It could be that she feels more comfortable and less insecure in them. Or they're just her personality.

Regardless, express to her that you wouldn't mind seeing her in some more feminine clothes even tho the ones she wears isn't bad. You just find her femininity beautiful and would like to see her step put of her comfort zone more cause you find that really attractive.

It's better to plant the seed and water it from time to time with fun reassurance. So she grows into with you and actually wants to switch it up from time to time because she knows you love it. Still compliment her always so she knows you love her at the end of the day no matter what she wears.
