A girlfriend of nearly 3 years left after arguing, and it's been days of silent treatment, what it means?

We've had some difficult months in our relationship. we had some stress of money as my business was just beginning and we needed to save in all. Now the bitter sweet thing, I got my first big income in the day after she had left. When I could finally easily provide us with all we had wished for, I don't have my love with me.

Back to where it started from. She got very upset with me this time in an argument. When I tried to hug her , she told not to touch her. She was hours alone in bathroom and kitchen. and didn't seem to want to have any contact with me. In morning I had written her apology letter but she was unresponsive when I read her. I was leaving for work and apologized her, said I love her but she didn't look at me or speak a single word, no words since in the evening she said don't touch me.

She's a strong character and has in past left somewhere when upset. But not this long time without a word, it's been 4 nights away from home. I have a lot of guilt from my mistakes and I miss her.

I went to get one of her favourite jewellery, it was around $4000, now that I could finally afford it and long time had not given her anything special, and she had also been sacrificing when waiting my business to start creating income.

I wrote her a card with love and promises of real actions to change my behavior and left the gift and card discreetly for her to find at her workplace. She received it yesterday but didn't still say a word all day and night passed, no contact at all still.

I'm so devastated, I've been treating her not well enough, she was treating me not well enough but we have had an amazing connection under that all and I love her so much. I worked so hard and hurt her by being always busy, as I tried to make my promises of success happen ASAP.

Is there anything I can do, or anything I shouldn't do? Just to let her be and wish for the best?

Well, I think you seem to realize your mistake and you did you part to apologize. Given her behavior it seems she does not trust you anymore and does not think your apology is true.

Things are not looking good. You can make one attempt to talk to her and sort it out or you can ask her if she wishes to break up. Depending on what she is saying you can then decide what is to be done.

Even this one attempt that you might make, she might not want to talk to you. In that case it would almost be certain that she wishes to end things. In that case you will have to just accept it and let her go.

I don't know what you should do. Just learn from your mistakes now and hopefully don't make the same in the future. Women just need and want attention love and affection. Effort. It's not that fucking hard. Men are dense. I get it you want to be a man and provide but give life into eachother. It's better than materials... that's mostly where you lack and a lot of men don't get that

Yes, i hear you. She told me couple of times how I think too much money , but same time she was upset that we needed to look for prices at supermarket or that we didn't have for anything extra. And I just failed to combine the things, to take care of a business. And same time be available. And it took too long, 1.5 years when originally I assumed a few months, and I think My big mistake was to focus on her negative words and critic and become upset without addressing what kind of feelings she might have to cause her to say and feel like that. So much
learning, just heart breaking that it came to this, that I cannot anymore even talk with her.

It means that they are abusing you with the silent treatment, and that they might be narcissistic. Withholding of love and withholding of communication is abusive. Pray for them and move on and find somebody who is capable of making you happy and seeing things through to the long-term this person has way too much work to do on themselves.

You've setup an environment where you paying for your girlfriend as I'd you're married (which you should never do) and you mentioned she got upset and spent hours in the bathroom. She probably was talking with someone
